American's spent $2.4 trillion on health care in 2008, and nearly 46 million Americans are uninsured. But what if you you could pay for a doctor or dentist visit not with cash or a check, but with child care, or clothes, or tomatoes from your garden?

Througout the recession, as Americans lose health benefits, more people are turning to old fashioned bartering to help pay for health care services, including everything from physicals to fillings.
