Finally, your weight has a lot to do with your risk of getting diabetes. And NFL players, especially linemen, are huge.

So researchers at the University of Texas tested more than 200 former professional players as part of the Dallas Heart Study. Perhaps surprisingly, the retired players had not developed diabetes, no matter what their size. The lead scientest says it just goes to show that you can be as big as you want, as long as you stay in top physical shape.
