T. Boone Pickens has spent thousands on a campaign to focus the nation's attention on what he calls the single biggest crisis facing the country today: its dependence on foreign oil.

You've likely seen the television commercials touting "Pickens' Plan," a venture by businessman and philanthropist T. Boone Pickens to bring independence from foreign oil and expansion of domestic energy sources.

If you want to show support or want to learn more about the plan, Pickens himself will be in Chicago Tuesday morning, hosting a Town Hall session in Navy Pier's Grand Ballroom.

The doors open at 9 a.m. and the event starts 90 minutes later. Seating is limited, so RSVP to townhall@respublicagroup.com.
