Catalina and Crabman will greet fans at Navy Pier Festival Hall A on Saturday and Saturday.

 

Two of the stars of the popular NBC sitcom "My Name is Earl" will be in Chicago this weekend for the NBC5 Travel Expo.

Nadine Velazquez (Catalina) and Eddie Steeples (Crabman) will greet fans at Navy Pier Festival Hall A November 15th and 16th. They will appear on Saturday from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Sunday, 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Velazquez was born in Chicago and attended Notre Dame High School for Girls. On "My Name is Earl," Valazquez's character is a beautiful Latin American immigrant who works as hotel housekeeper and a stripper who married one of the main characters to obtain her legal residency.

Steeple's Crabman character is married to Earl's ex-wife on the show. He graduated from college at age 14, but hides the truth about himself because he is part of the Witness Protection Program.

The NBC 5 Travel Expo is a free event designed to provide ideas and information about insider travel deals. Vendors will be side-by-side with cultural events to give you a taste of what you'll find at lots of destinations like Mexico, Peru, Polynesia, Europe, Argentina and more.
