Park Ridge Sues Over “Escort Service” Sign

The city of Park Ridge is taking a strip mall owner to court over signs hanging in an empty storefront.

The large signs at 805 N. Northwest Highway advertise for "Trixee's Escort Service." The signs promise specific services for a set price of $2,400.

A phone number listed on the sign is registered to a cell phone with a voicemail message, but doesn't include any names, the Chicago Sun-Times reported.

The city has tried to reach the business and the strip mall owner, but with no success.

City Attorney Everette Hill said the sign violates city laws because it appears to advertise illegal activity.
