An Elgin-based construction company on Friday increased the reward they're offering for information that leads to the recovery of their equipment and the conviction of the thieves.
The new reward stands at $10,000.
Three large pieces of Martam Construction's equipment have been snagged from sites this year. The latest was the theft of a Case 621E wheel loader that disappeared Monday from a job site near 22nd street and Butterfield Road.
The loader is valued at about $160,000, the company said.
