If you can't say something nice ...

A man who was about to be released from the Cook County Jail yesterday made an about face when he allegedly threatened Mayor Richard Daley, authorities told the Tribune.

Lorenzo Davis, 25, made the threat to jail medical staff as he was being released on unrelated charges of battery and assaulting a police officer.

Davis was immediately taken back into custody for the alleged threat to the mayor, a police officer told the Trib.

Looks like someone is learning when to keep his mouth shut the hard way.
