The cremated remains of seven people were recovered Wednesday when the Gary Police Department began its criminal investigation into the activities of Darryl Cammack, owner of the defunct Serenity Gardens Funeral Home.  The investigation started when four unidentified bodies were found there over the Memorial Day weekend.
