Man Leaves Testicles in Bathroom, Drives to Hospital
Mentally Ill Man Died the Next Day

The 43-year-old man, whose family asked that he not be named, mutilated himself early Friday morning in his Evergreen Park home, leaving his testicles in the bathroom, police said. He crashed his car around 2:40 a.m. at 95th Street and South Millard Avenue.
The man, who lived in the Wrightwood neighborhood, died around noon Saturday at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.
The man may have suffered from mental illness, police said.
Wentworth Area detectives are investigating.
