Man Bites Off Paramedic's Finger

A paramedic had the tip of his finger bitten off while attempting to protect a woman who was being badly beaten by her boyfriend early Sunday.
The male paramedic was taken in good condition to University of Illinois Medical Center at Chicago, Fire Media Affairs spokesman Chief Joe Roccasalva said.
