A big welcome home really means a lot to soldiers and their families across the country.

Illinois National Guardsmen returning from a year in Afghanistan got a huge welcome when they got back Monday.
They were escorted by state police to the Crestwood Armory. Friends and family members were waiting there to greet them with big hugs and smiles and a few homes.
Welcome home.
