Many Christians throughout the world observe Good Friday, but in Chicago, the holiday commemorating Christ's death is marked with particular drama.
For more than three decades, the Pilsen and Little Village neighborhoods have held The Living Way of the Cross, a re-enactment of Christ's crucifixion.
Tens of thousands of people came out to watch the event, which began at 9 a.m.
