A Brown Line train collided with a truck that apparently tried to go around lowered crossing arms at the Kedzie station on Thursday.

The crash happened around 1 p.m. at the Kedzie stop, 4648 N Kedzie Ave.  A Brown Line train was slowly pulling out of the station when the truck drove onto the tracks, the CTA said.

No injuries were reported.  At least eleven people on the train refused treatment.

Crews backed up the train and moved the truck off the tracks.  Power was out on the line for about an hour between Western and Kimball, but normal service was restored by 2 p.m.
