An 18-year-old student at a northwest suburban high school was charged with two counts of sexual assault Sunday for allegedly raping two female students, one of whom is a minor.
The Barrington High student, Bruce A. Johnston of Tower Lakes, was arrested by Barrington Hills police, accused of forcibly sexually assaulting two female students, according to police and Barrington School District 220.
Both incidents occurred at a home in Barrington Hills outside of school hours.
Johnston will not be allowed to return to school until police complete their investigation. He is being held by McHenry County authorities on a $150,000 bond.
No additional details on the assaults were available Monday evening.
