A baby girl was born just one second after the clock struck 12:00!
Alejandra Maya Arroyo was born January 1, 2011,12:00:01 a.m. at Loyola University Health System, according to the hospital.
She weighed in at five pounds, eleven ounces and was18 inches long.
Baby Alejandra was welcomed to the world by her parents Rosalinda and Alejandro Arroyo of Cicero. She is the Arroyo's fourth child and the couple has been married for 19 years, the hospital stated.
