During my time at Six Flags, I have always been impressed by their commitment to the safety of its guests. My role is to audit the quality of medical care at Six Flags, including Six Flags Great America. I feel extremely confident that Great America and all of the Six Flags parks meet the required standards to maintain their medical license and follow the appropriate protocols for medical care of guests that visit their parks. This has been and continues to be fundamental to their brand equity and long term success.
However, I am not at liberty to publicly share information about specific incidents. You would need to contact the company for that information. I would be cautious when dealing with a former employee leaking confidential information.
You should note however that all parks, no matter their ownership, do have incidents on a daily basis. The fact that Six Flags has a world class team and process in place to manage these incidents is a part of the reason that I work with them.
