A Schiller Park mom accused of terrorism pleaded not guilty in U.S. Federal Court in St. Louis Wednesday.

Mediha Salkicevic and five other defendants were indicted on terrorism charges in February. The 34-year-old Bosnian immigrant is accused of providing material support to terrorist groups, including ISIS. Salkicevic and the others were charged in Missouri.

A Chicago FBI agent was called to the witness stand Wednesday in Salkicevic’s bond hearing. He laid out the details of their federal investigation, including how they allegedly used phones, email and social media websites like Facebook to communicate in code words such as: lions, brothers and Bosnian brothers.

The defendants are accused of funneling cash and some equipment, including U.S. military uniforms, firearms accessories and other tactical military gear purchased, which was shipped from the US to Turkey and passed on to fighters in Syria and Iraq.

Her next court date was set for March 23.
