Whole ovary transplant brings hope to sterile women.

Susanne Butscher offers her remarkable story as a sign of hope for all women.

Ms. Butscher suffered early menopause at age 15 and was completely sterile. But recently she had an amazing one of a kind surgery, receiving a whole ovary from her twin sister. She went on to conceive naturally and now has a healthy baby girl.

The doctors at The Infertility Center of St. Louis have transplanted ovarian tissue on twins in the past, but Mrs. Butscher's surgery was the first time a whole ovary was tranplanted.
