A Pill to Learn By

Want to zoom up the learning curve?   Scientests say a commonly prescribed pill may help.

Research in the February issue of Behavioral Neuroscience found that a drug called Fasudil dramatically increased the learning and memory skills in animal studies.  And the researchers are about to try the same pills on humans.

Fasudil currently is used to help people recover from strokes.  The team of researchers hopes to prove that the medicine also will  help older people with memory problems.
