Mila Kunis, Adam Scott Being Wooed to Join Mark Wahlberg in “Ted”

She's enjoying the best reviews of her career, he's perennially underutilized. Together, Mila Kunis and Adam Scott could soon be playing third and fourth wheel to a teddy bear.

Kunis and Scott are in talks to join "Ted," according to Heat Vision. The film, from "Family Guy" creator Seth MacFarlane, is about a foul-mouthed, chain-smoking stuffed bear who's been by his owner's side for 25 years.

Mark Wahlberg is said to be in final talks to play the lead character, who as a boy makes a wish that his teddy bear (voiced by MacFarlane) would come to life and be his best friend forever. Careful what you wish for, people...

Kunis earlier today picked up a Golden Globe nomination for her work opposite Natalie Portman in "Black Swan," completing her unlikely ascent as the most successful of the "That '70s Show" alumni. Scott, meanwhile, has finally been getting some traction on his career, with a recurring role on "Parks & Recreation," as well as parts in two upcoming films, "My Idiot Brother" and "Friends With Kids."

"Family Guy" has long been a guilty pleasure, but nothing MacFarlane's done since has really spoken to us. Hope he's got something fresh to bring to the talking stuffed animal genre, 'cuz "The Beaver" looks like it might be great.
