British songstress performs at private W Lake Shore show on Lollapalooza eve, discusses festival debut.
Britain's Jessie Ware invaded the W Chicago Lakeshore Thursday night for a Lollapalooza eve concert, part of the hotel's Symmetry Live series.
Ware's star has been rising over the past year, with numerous comparisons to other British songstresses such as Adele and Amy Winehouse adding to her buzz.
It's her second set of performances in Chicago, although she does have a connection to the city -- her sister, Hannah Ware, played the Kelsey Grammar's daughter on the canceled TV series "Boss," which was set in Chicago.
Ware performed poolside on the seventh floor of the hotel, offering up several songs from her newly-released album, Devotion.
You can check her out at Lollapalooza Friday at 3:15 p.m. on the Petrillo stage and an after-party at Lincoln later in the evening.
