BMW Championship: Rain Pushes Final Round to Monday

Play will resume at 8am, with leaders teeing off around 10am

Unfortunately for Jim Furyk, Steve Stricker, and the rest of the BMW Championship field at Conway Farms, they won't be getting much rest if they finish strong and qualify for the Tour Championship in Atlanta later this week.

That's because the final round of the tournament was suspended due to rains that have been hammering the north suburban course all day. All of the leaders were unable to tee off due to the inclement weather, and only six golfers were able to finish their rounds. Rory McIlroy, the defending champion of this event, was one of those six, finishing with a four day score of 7-over par and knocking himself out of the FedEx Cup playoffs.

As it stands now, play is scheduled to resume at 8am Chicago time, and will air on Golf Channel. Furyk and Stricker will tee off at 9:40am, with Brandt Snedeker and Zach Johnson, two and three shots back respectively, will tee off 10 minutes prior to that.

Several other players who have already begun their rounds will be looking to make a move to advance to next week's Tour Championship. Bubba Watson is 1-under par through two holes and minus-3 for the tournament, and he needs a high finish to make it to Atlanta. Rickie Fowler is 2-under par through four holes and minus-2 for the tournament.

Other notable tee times for the final round:

Tiger Woods: 9:20am (with Charl Schwartzel)
Luke Donald: 8:50am (with Matt Jones)
Henrik Stenson: 8:10am (with John Merrick)
