If Richard Hatch wins big on "Celebrity Apprentice," he might be better off giving the money back.

It's been less than a week since his return to reality television, and the infamous winner of the first season of "Survivor," 49, is going back to prison for tax evasion. He had already served a sentence of more than three years for failing to pay taxes on his $1 million prize money in 2001. He was released in 2009, but ignoring his orders to re-file and pay what he owed ten years ago has earned him another nine months.

One of the core principles of economics is that people act rationally. We're guessing Donald Trump isn't too impressed. US District Court Judge William Smith certainly wasn't.

"It needs to be a severe punishment," Smith told Hatch at his sentencing on Friday, according to People. "That's the only thing that will deter you in the future."

Shooting has already completed on "Celebrity Apprentice," so Hatch will still appear on the show. He is currently appealing the amount of back taxes he owes to the IRS -- a number Entertainment Weekly puts at around $2 million.
