Richard Hatch: IRS, "Survivor" Production Team Told Me Not to Pay Taxes

"Survivor" villain Richard Hatch was cuffed by cops Tuesday just hours after the star spilled about his rocky legal past on "The Today Show" -- and said he had been discriminated against by past judges because of his homosexuality.

The Barnstable County Sheriff's Office in Bourne, Mass., confirmed to "The Today Show" that Hatch was in custody but declined to say why the reality-show contestant was behind bars. Hatch's sister told the show he was arrested at their home in Newport, R.I. earlier in the afternoon.

Hatch, who spent four years in jail and is still under house arrest for tax evasion, told Matt Lauer during the interview that "Survivor" producers promised to pay the taxes on the $1 million cash prize he bagged on the show.

He also claimed the judge who ruled against him was biased because of his homosexuality.

“My personal opinion: He discriminated against me,” Hatch said.

Hatch, 48, still wore an ankle bracelet up until his arrest today and is not allowed to leave his home without explicit permission.

Barnstable County cops said they wouldn't be releasing a statement about Hatch's arrest.
