Josh Groban Sings Kanye's Tweets on Jimmy Kimmel

Kanye West's Twitter feed is the gift that keeps on giving.

After eschewing the micro-blogging service for several years, the voluble rapper embraced it with a vengeance last summer, sharing his idiosyncratic thoughts - occasionally in all caps - on everything from the relative coolness of ninjas ("kind of cool...I just don't know any personally") to the indignities he suffered when he started dating models ("I had to learn to like small dogs and cigarettes").

The tweets, which provided an open-ended look into the mind of one of the most fascinating stars of the day, were quickly mashed up by various outlets, often to hilarious effect. Kanye's tweets were paired with New Yorker cartoons and a spoof Twitter feed placed Kanye's words in the mouth of Tracy Jordan, the hilariously erratic "30 Rock" character played by Tracy Morgan.

But now the tweets are being sung by pop star Josh Groban, reports Entertainment Weekly.

In a spot that went viral overnight, Groban trained his strong voice on selected tweets from West during a skit on a recent episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!

The singer said picking the material was difficult.

"When it comes to Kanye's tweets, it's like, how do you pick the prettiest child? They're all gems," he said in an interview with EW.

The clips have already generated over 1.2 million views on YouTube, but Groban's take may have been given the ultimate seal of approval by Kanye himself: he re-tweeted the clips to his followers.
