She gave him her kidney but they couldn’t save their marriage.

Late-night funnyman George Lopez and wife Ann Serrano are calling it quits after 17 years of marriage.

After TMZ first reported news of the split, a rep for the “Lopez Tonight” host released a statement to USA Today saying the decision was mutual.

"George and Ann Lopez have made the decision to end their 17 year marriage. The decision is amicable and by mutual agreement,” the statement said. “They remain dedicated parents, and committed partners in business and their philanthropic organization, The Lopez Foundation.”

The ex-couple, which has a 15-year-old daughter, Mayan, were spotted out together in Los Angeles just last week smiling for photos at the Padres Contra El Cancer's 25th Annual Gala at The Hollywood Palladium.

In 2005, Ann Lopez donated one of her kidneys to George, 49.

With no blood relatives to turn to, Lopez had faced a waiting list 60,000 strong until his wife stepped in, he told People mag after undergoing surgery.

"I can't pay her back, but what I can do is make her as happy as she thought I would when we first got married," Lopez told People.
