Kevin Federline Hospitalized Filming Weight-Loss Show Down Under

The former Mr. Britney Spears was rushed to the hospital while filming the show "Excess Baggage."

Kevin Federline went down while Down Under.

Britney Spears' ex-husband and father of her children collapsed and was rushed to the hospital while filming an episode of the weight loss show "Excess Baggage" in Australia.

The dancer and wannabe rapper was filming a segment in the Australian Outback when he began showing some strain under the sweltering heat.

Adrian Motte, a representative for "Excess Baggage," confirmed the incident to People. "During the shoot, under advice from the show's medic, Kevin was taken to hospital as he was showing signs of heat stress," said Motte.

"Our first shoot was in November in the Kimberley region in Outback Western Australia," added Motte.  "Widely regarded as one of the most remote and hostile parts of the country."

Photos of the 33 year-old Federline jogging shirtless in Los Angeles - revealing an over-sized belly - were spread across the internet last week. Despite the scare, he will continue in his quest to drop the pounds.

"He resumed filming in the Kimberley shortly after and is currently continuing on with the show," confirmed Motte.
