Hurley Warns Lotto Winners Who Played "Lost" Numbers

Jorge Garcia

Actor Jorge Garcia warns of big trouble for all those Losties who made money in Tuesday's Mega Millions drawing.

Actor Jorge Garcia, who played cursed lotto winner Hurley on ABC's "Lost," took to his blog on Wednesday to send a warning to the thousands of now-richer Losties who made money in Tuesday's Mega Millions drawing.

Garcia's character on the show won the lottery with the numbers 4, 8, 15, 16, 23 and 42. From there, the numbers brought him nothing but trouble and bad luck. Tuesday's actual winning numbers were eerily similar: 4, 8, 15, 25, 47 and 42.

Matching three of the winning numbers and the Mega number is worth $150.

On his blog Wednesday, Garcia responded with a post entitled, "When Will You People Learn?"

"The Numbers Are Bad!" wrote the actor.

He even posted a picture of $150 covered by the word "cursed."

"Lost" producer Damon Lindelof estimated the number of "Lost" winners at about 9,000 people. The Los Angeles Times reported that more than 40,000 people matched 4, 8, 15 and 42.
