Drew Barrymore: Letterman Situation is “Unfortunate…I Wish Them The Best”

Drew Barrymore, a longtime favorite guest on "The Late Show with David Letterman," called the talk show host's admission of sexual relationships with several female staffers and the related alleged extortion attempt by a CBS employee, "unfortunate."

During her appearance on CBS's "Early Show" Friday morning, Drew joked about her infamous racy desk dance that she performed for Letterman in 1995.

"I hope I didn't start anything by jumping on his desk!" she said, adding, "I've always had fun there. I feel, you know, it's an unfortunate situation. I'm not one to comment on it, and I wish them the best, because that's an unfortunate situation."

Drew, who appeared on the morning news program to promote her new movie, "Whip It," said she had only learned about the news on Friday morning.
