ABC Developing Talk Show For Tori Spelling

Tori Spelling might be heading to daytime.

ABC is currently developing a talk show for the "Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood" star, a source confirmed to Access Hollywood on Wednesday.

According to the Los Angeles Times, which first reported the story, the network is said to be looking to create a "Will & Grace" style atmosphere between Tori and a potential co-host, who has not yet been selected.

In 2006, Tori charmed VH1 audiences with her own "Will & Grace" style banter with "Star Trek's" Zachary Quinto, who played her best friend on VH1's "So NoTORIous," which was based loosely on the "90210" star's life.

If Tori's show makes it to television, it is unclear how it will work on the ABC schedule, which currently features a mega-block of soap operas – "All My Children," "One Life To Live," and "General Hospital" – followed by daytime powerhouse, "The Oprah Winfrey Show."

Oprah's show, however, will come to a close in Fall 2011.

Since Oprah announced her impending departure from daytime, a host of new talk shows have been announced including the Oprah-endorsed "Nate Berkus Show," starring the TV queen's designer pal, and Rosie O'Donnell will also be returning to the fold.
