Buy Springsteen's “Born to Run” House

Fans of Bruce Springsteen can now own a piece of rock history -- the New Jersey home where The Boss wrote “Born to Run” is up for sale.

For just $299,000 you can live in the small, Long Branch home where Springsteen lived when he wrote and recorded the title track to the album that launched his career, according to the Red Bank Orbit.

The address isn't on "Thunder Road," but rather at 7-1/2 West End Court. The Boss wrote hits like “Born to Run,” “Thunder Road” and “Backstreets” within its four walls while living there from 1974 to 75, reported Stan Goldstein of NJ.com.

After “Born to Run,” Springsteen moved on to to superstardom and nicer digs.

The cottage-style home is “bigger than it looks at 828 square feet,” realtor Susan McLaughlin told the Orbit.

The house was assessed at $216,400, according to Monmouth County tax records. So, there is a bit of an upcharge for Springsteen fans to be "The Boss" in this home.
