Troubled Disney starlet Demi Lovato recently removed one obstcale on her way to celebrity redemption.

The singer reached a financial settlement with a back-up dancer she punched on her October tour, reports PopEater.

"I'm happy. We came to an agreement and I'm ready to move on," Alex Welch, the alleged Victim, had told People magazine.

Welch had threatened to hit Lovato with a lawsuit but via information first made public by RadarOnline, the two parties were able to come to an understanding.

Welch's lawyer, Donald Karpel, told Radar that a series of negotiations ended in a "complete and amicable resolution. She [Alex Welch] is satisfied."

Prior to the announcement of the settlement, Karpel said that his client was seeking an apology from Lovato and a donation made to the charity of her choosing.

The incident led to the Jonas Brothers' pal checking herself into treatment for "physical and emotional issues."
