Chris Brown shouldn’t have let Raz-B take him there.

R&B star Chris Brown spent much of Wednesday undoing recent gains to his reputation by lashing out with gay and racist slurs online at another artist who’d insulted him with a comment about Rihanna.

Raz-B, the former member of the group B2K, apparently started the Twitter beef by writing "Im just sittin here Thinking how can n---- like @ebenet [Eric Benet] and @chrisbrown disrespect women as Intelligent as Halle Berry, Rihanna," the New York Daily News reported.

“It's funny how I'm nominated for 3 grAmmys off of a mixtape and ur scrambling for change!!” Brown replied after first sending out a trio of missives too explicit for this site.

The tweets mocked Raz-B’s sexuality and manhood, and alluded to the musician’s claims he’d been molested by several of his band’s ex-managers, according to the News.

"merry christmas.i just gave you 20 thousand more followers.. u shouldve did this first instead of telling the world you got raped," Brown tweeted.

“I luv how u resort 2 disrespectful low brow tactics when u clearly sabotaged ur own career by beating women!” Raz-B shot back during the exchange.

After hours of the back and forth, Brown didn’t take back his comments or delete his tweets. But the “Forever” singer did reference his anti-gay insults.

“BTW... i love all my gay fans and this immature act is not targeted at you!!!! love,” he wrote.

Brown, who last year was sentenced to five years probation and six months of community labor after being found guilty of assaulting Rihanna, his then-girlfriend, had been drawing positive headlines of late.

In May, his lawyer revealed he’d served 300 hours of community service. Three months later his probation judge applauded the 21-year-old for “doing a great job” steering clear of trouble.

Brown also scored his first no. 1 hit on Billboard’s R&B/Hip-Hop songs since the Rihanna assault  for the fall goodbye groove “Deuces.”

And as he reminded Raz-B, he's up for three Grammys this year.
