Though he is now out of jail, Lil Wayne is still dealing with the law.

The rapper, who is also known as Dwayne Carter Jr., recently checked in with officials in Yuma, Ariz. to commence unsupervised probation for three years related to a drug conviction, The Associated Press reported.

In June, Wayne pleaded guilty in Yuma County to one felony drug possession charge related to a case when his tour bus was stopped at a U.S. Border Patrol checkpoint over two years ago. Cocaine, Ecstasy and a handgun were discovered by authorities, according to the AP.

Steve Hardy, Yuma County chief probation officer, said the artist’s case was moved to Florida, Wayne’s home state. As part of the conditions, Wayne has to refrain from drugs, alcohol and crime for three years.

Wayne recently served eight months in a New York prison for having a loaded gun in his tour bus. He pleaded guilty last year for attempted weapons possession and began his sentence this past March before being released Nov. 4.

Wayne’s latest album, “I Am Not a Human Being,” was released last month.
