The not-so-long awaited "Spider-Man" reboot is here, the Dark Knight is about to "Rise," a "Total" remake is coming and you should get ready to be "Bourne" again as the summer heat will make a couple of hours in a movie theater all the more enticing. Check out what the next two months has to offer:

July 3

The Amazing Spider-Man
Seven years after "Spider-Man 3," your friendly neighborhood wall-crawler returns, this time with over is Andrew Garfield ("The Social Network") as Spidey/Peter Parker, as he goes up against The Lizard, aka Dr. Curt Connors (Rhys Ifans) in this retelling of the origins story. We're not sure this franchise needed to be rebooted so quickly, but the trailer looks mighty fine. Directed by Marc Webb, co-stars Emma Stone ("Easy A") as girlfriend Gwen Stacy, and Denis Leary as Capt. George Stacy of the NYPD.

July 6

Savages
Aaron Johnson ("Kick-Ass") and Taylor Kitsch ("Battleship") star as two men who share a marijuana business and a girlfriend, played by Blake Lively ("The Town"). The guys must go to war after a Mexican drug cartel kidnaps their girlfriend. Directed by Oliver Stone, based on the acclaimed novel by Don Winslow, and co-starring Benicio Del Toro and Salma Hayek.

Katy Perry: Part of Me
This documentary chronicles the pop star's life on stage and off--IN 3D!!!

July 13

Ice Age: Continental Drift
This one is sure to set the conservative commentators in a tizzy...A film in which Manny, Diego, and Sid find their home set adrift--no doubt because of "global warming"--forcing them to confront sea creatures and pirates.

July 20

The Dark Knight Rises
Director Christopher Nolan's incredible Batman trilogy comes to an end with this epic saga that finds the Caped Crusader (Christian Bale) dancing with Catwoman (Anne Hathaway) and going to war with the musclebound sociopath genius Bane (Tom Hardy). Co-stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine and Gary Oldman.

July 27

The Watch
Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, Jonah Hill and Richard Ayoade star as four friends who form a neighborhood watch group in an effort o avoid their unsatisfying home lives, but soon find themselves trying to protect their hometown from an alien invasion. This film was originally known as "Neighborhood Watch," but that title was scrapped after the Trayvon Martin tragedy.

Ruby Sparks
Paul Dano stars as a struggling novelist who awakens one day to find the girl of his dreams has emerged from the pages of his book and turned into a real woman, played by his real-life girlfriend and screenwriter, Zoe Kazan.

Aug. 3

Total Recall
Colin Farrell stars in this remake of the Arnold Schwarzenegger classic based on a Philip K. Dick story, as a workaday hump in a dystopian future who visits a company that promises to implant his brain with more exciting memories and awakens suspecting he's a secret agent in the midst of a civil war.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days
Greg, the hero of the "Wimpy Kid" series, is confronted by a summer of boredom when his family must cancel their vacation plans

Aug. 10

The Bourne Legacy
Jeremy Renner takes over one of the greatest spy thriller franchises of all time, as a super agent who's the product of a top-secret government program. Co-stars Rachel Weisz, Edward Norton, Joan Allen and Oscar Isaac.

The Campaign
Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis are rivals in this political spoof about two men running for one of North Carolina's seats in Congress. Co-stars Jason Sudeikis, Dylan McDermott, Brain Cox, John Lithgow and Dam Aykroyd.

Hope Springs
Meryl Streep stars as a woman whose marriage has lost some of its magic, and drags her husband, Tommy Lee Jones, to a counselor, played by Steve Carell, to get it back.

Red Hook Summer
Writer-director Spike Lee returns to his Brooklyn roots with this coming-of-age story about a young boy sent to live with his grandfather, a preacher who lives in the projects, for the summer.

Aug. 17

The Expendables 2
Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Chuck Norris, Terry Crews, Randy Couture, Liam Hemsworth, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Yu Nan blow stuff up and try to put a lid on six-pounds of weapons-grade plutonium.

ParaNorman
This stop-motion 3D film, from the folks who did "Coraline," tells of a boy who can talk to the dead and must defeat an ancient curse that threatens his hometown. Features the voices of Kodi Smit-McPhee, Leslie Mann, John Goodman, Casey Affleck and Christopher Mintz-Plasse.

Sparkle
Whitney Houston's return to the big screen in "Sparkle" would tragically turn out to be her last movie role. Houston plays the mother of three singing sisters with aspirations of stardom, in a remake of the 1976 film of the same name. The film co-stars former "Idol" champ Jordin Sparks and Cee lo Green.

Cosmopolis
David Cronenberg's adaptation of Don DeLillo's "Cosmopolis," starring Robert Pattinson as a billionaire who spends a day in a limo in New York City

Hit & Run
Dax Shepard stars as an ex-getaway driver whose efforts to help his girlfriend, Kristen Bell, blows his witness protection cover, causing his former cronies, led by a dreadlocked Bradley Cooper, and the feds to chase after the couple

Premium Rush
Joseph Gordon-Levitt stars as a New York City bike messenger who finds himself in possession of a package that a dirty cop, played by Michael Shannon, is desperate to get his hands on.

Robot & Frank
Frank Langella stars as a retired jewel thief whose concerned son, played by James Marsden, buys him a robot to offer the old man companionship and to keep him active. After some initial resistance, Frank realizes that the 'bot offers the perfect accomplice, and so he comes out of retirement.

Lawless
Shia LaBeouf and Tom Hardy star in this Depression Era film about a bootlegging brothers caught between the law and the mob. Co-stars Tom Hardy, Jessica Chastain, Jason Clarke, Guy Pearce, Gary Oldman and Mia Wasikowska.
