Sam Worthington Talks ‘Avatar' Sequels & ‘Clash Of The Titans'

Sam Worthington says the staggering worldwide success of "Avatar," over $2.5 billion at the box office, makes him wonder if multiple sequels will be made – and the Australian actor said he'd work with director James Cameron again for just "a bucket of fish."

"I'm starting to think we're going to do 'Avatar 3, 4, 5'" Sam told Access Hollywood's Billy Bush at the ShoWest Awards in Las Vegas on Thursday. "But that's the thing, we're only going to do it if Jim can find someone to challenge him because he's not the type of guy that just dives in lightly."

The 33-year-old actor said the innovative director could bring another groundbreaking technique to the sequels.

"Jim will only do a movie if it's a challenge for him and if he can revolutionize something," he told Billy. "I know with Jim, he has to find his own personal challenge on it. So we'll wait and see."

And Sam said he's onboard for whatever Jim asks of him – and he'll do it for close to nothing.

"I signed for a couple [of sequels] but I'll work with Jim for a bucket of fish," Sam joked.

As for Sam's new epic movie, "Clash of the Titans," which opens April 2, he said it's big on action, thrills and man-skirts.

"It's a lot of fun," he explained. "It's a bunch of guys in dresses. We're in rubber skirts killing monsters!

"I think 'Clash' is not mean to take itself too serious," he continued. "People remember the old one. It's not a homage – in a way it is – but we ramped it up to 11. Big scorpions, big monsters, a bunch of guys killing stuff!"
