Celebrity Blogger Predicted Murphy’s Death

The sudden death of Brittany Murphy at such a young age stunned the nation Sunday.

The 32-year-old actress died early Sunday morning after going into full cardiac arrest in her Los Angeles home.

Earlier this month a San Diego radio morning show, AJ in the Morning, interviewed Celebrity Blogger Perez Hilton. 

While talking about Michael Jackson's death being the biggest story of the year 2009, host AJ Machado asks Perez Hilton if there is a celebrity that he thinks is heading in the same path as Michael Jackson.

“Brittany Murphy maybe,” Hilton replied.

Murphy was accused of having an eating disorder earlier in her career which some believed was tied to a cocaine habit, the Huffington Post reported.

She denied the allegations in 2005.

The Los Angeles City Fire Department confirmed that a 911 call was made at 8 a.m. from Murphy's West Hollywood home, according to several reports.

Murphy's mother found her unconscious in the shower and that CPR was administered immediately upon the paramedics' arrival, sources told TMZ.

The actress was pronounced dead upon arrival at Cedars Sinai Medical Center.

Murphy was best known for her roles in "Clueless," "Don't Say a Word" and "8 Mile."

The actress recently returned to making movies after a three-year break and told Access Hollywood that she and her husband, Simon Monjack, hoped to start a family in the coming year.

The cause of death is under investigation.
