Robert De Niro Immortalized in Cement at Iconic Chinese Theatre in Hollywood

Legendary actor leaves his mark during hand and footprint ceremony.

Forget "You talking to me?" The better question here is, "What took so long?"

Robert De Niro was finally immortalized at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood when the legendary actor placed his hands, feet and signature in cement on Monday.

"You know, Joe Pesci always said I'd end up with my feet in cement," De Niro told the crowd following some kind words spoken by Billy Crystal and Silver Linings Playbook director David O. Russell. "I don't think this is what he had in mind."

Robert De Niro, Amy Adams and more react to their Oscar nominations

The honor comes in the wake of the two-time Oscar winner's most recent Academy Award nomination for his supporting work in Playbook.

Not to mention on the, er, heels of an extensive career that includes such films as Mean Streets, The Godfather Part II, Taxi Driver, The Deer Hunter, Raging Bull, Goodfellas and Casino. Just to name a few, of course.

Following the ceremony, 69-year-old De Niro told E! News: "It was fun, it was great."

Not to mention, well deserved.
