Police Raid Lil Wayne's Miami Beach Mansion

Police raided rapper Lil Wayne's Miami Beach mansion Tuesday with a levy warrant, which is used to seize property.

According to sources, Lil Wayne owes money and police were taking assets. Aerial footage showed agents taking items from the home.

His mansion is reportedly unoccupied.

Miami-Dade Police said this was part of a civil case. No further details were immediately known.

The rapper's mansion also made headlines back in March when someone claimed to have fired shots inside the eight-bedroom home.

Police said the 911 calls were part of a swatting incident, which means an unknown caller falsely reported the shooting.

Lil Wayne was not home at the time.

His publicist could not be reached for comment Wednesday morning.
