Janet Jackson Adds Unbreakable World Tour Dates

We missed you much, Janet Jackson.

Last month Jackson revealed the name of her tour and announced the first 36 concerts. On Monday she upped the ante by adding a second leg to the tour, which includes 27 dates. 

The Unbreakable World Tour will take her to cities throughout the U.S. and Canada starting Aug. 31 in Vancouver, with shows lined up in Atlanta, Chicago, Las Vegas, L.A., Miami, New Orleans, San Diego, San Francisco and more. Live Nation is producing 30 of the 36 shows, and all dates will be co-produced by Rhythm Nation. Additional worldwide concerts will be announced at a later date.

Tickets for the first North American live performances will go on sale June 22 at JanetJackson.com. However, American Express Card members will be able to purchase tickets for select shows before the general public starting Monday, June 15, at 10:00 a.m. ET and ending Friday, June 19, at 10:00 pm. ET.

Jackson will release her first album in seven years this fall through Rhythm Nation Records/BMG. The news was announced June 3, with the singer saying, "Thank you to the talented team at BMG, my new artistic home. The opportunity to be creative in music and every form of entertainment has great potential here."
