Filming Wraps on “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2”

May the odds be ever in their favor.

Filming has wrapped on "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay--Part 2," the final chapter in the cinematic adaption of Suzanne Collins' dystopian young-adult novel trilogy.

"That's a wrap. Thank you @SuzanneCollins Thank you @Hibbits Thank you HG Fans. Other than that, I'm speechless," tweeted executive producer Nina Jacobson, name-checking the author and director Francis Lawrence alongside a photo of some production VIPs enmeshed in a big group hug.

The final cut marks the end of an era for franchise stars Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson, will forever form the vertices of the Katniss-Gale-Peta love triangle in the eyes of their fans.

"Goodbye Berlin. With deepest thanks to our remarkable #Mockingjay cast and crew," Jacobson also wrote.

Frustratingly, though film No. 4 is in the can, we still have to wait until Nov. 21 to see "Mockingjay--Part 1," let alone what fans already know will be the gut-punch-packed "Part 2," which is scheduled to hit theaters Nov. 20, 2015.

So far, all we've seen of "Part 1" is a couple of stills, including one featuring Julianne Moore as militant rebellion leader President Coin sitting alongside Head Gamemaker and no-longer-undercover rebel Plutarch Heavensbee, who as played by the late Philip Seymour Hoffman will still factor into both Part 1 and Part 2, no CGI needed.

"I think he might have had eight to 10 days left on our schedule [when he died]," Lawrence said in an interview last month. "In most of the scenes, Philip didn't have any dialogue. We are going to put him into those scenes, but we're only using real footage. We're not creating anything digital or a robotic version of him."

Sam Claflin, who plays trident-wielding Finnick Odair in the series, also tweeted his appreciation for the experience after filming had ended.

"I just want/need to express my many thanks to everyone (cast, crew &fans) who have worked so hard for so long to make...The Hunger Games experience what it is," he wrote. "But for also trusting me enough to let me be part of it. I feel privileged, honoured and so...very lucky to have shared this opportunity with so many passionate &talented people. #dreamjob@TheHungerGames@lionsgatemovies x."
