“Community” Gets a “Mad Men” Makeover in New Season 5 Promo

Better watch out, Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce, the Greendale study group is coming for you!

NBC's highly anticipated fifth season of "Community" is just a week away and we're currently counting down the seconds until we're reunited with all of our favorite shenanigan-prone students.

To make matters even more exciting, NBC just released a brand new promo for "Community's" new season and it looks like our gang is getting a "Mad Men" makeover. The cult comedy is ready to embrace the same vague tactics of AMC's smash period drama--and it's frustratingly hilarious.

Over the past five years, Alison Brie has done a phenomenal job at balancing the workload of her two characters on "Community" and "Mad Men," and now it looks like she's bringing a little bit of her 1960's drama to Greendale.

Although the new promo does not give us any details whatsoever about season five's upcoming episodes, it does do a great job packing as much drama as possible into each and every line. Touche, "Community."

Take a look at the video above to see if you can guess what the new season is about and then catch the premiere of "Community" Thursday, Jan. 2 at 8 p.m. on NBC.

(E! and NBC are both part of the NBCUniversal family.)
