It was just announced that "Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice" is the title for Ben Affleck's highly anticipated Batman flick.
Warner Bros. also revealed that principle photography on the Zack Snyder-directed movie was set to begin Wednesday in Detroit.
Filming for the star-studded movie will take place around the globe in Illinois, Africa and the South Pacific.
Henry Cavill will reprise his role as Superman, while Gal Gadot, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, Diane Lane, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons and Holly Hunter will also all join the cast.
And while there aren't any details about the plot just yet, we do know that Chris Terrio wrote the movie from a screenplay by David S. Goyer.
Just last week, Snyder shared the first photo of Affleck in full Caped Crusader, writing, "I shot this with my @Leica_Camera M Monochrom. #Batman #Batmobile #Gotham."
He also posted a photograph hinting what the latest version of the Batmobile will look like.
"Could be time to pull the tarp...Tomorrow?" Snyder wrote, along with a shot of the ride partly covered by a tarp.
But it looks like we're going to have to wait a while before seeing the action on the big screens...
The movie is slated to hit theaters on May 6, 2016.
