Disgraced former Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich and his wife will both participate in the NBC reality TV show "I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here" this summer in order to pay the bills.
The wife of former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich is in the Costa Rican jungle to compete on a TV reality show that he was barred from going on.
"It certainly is going to be interesting," said Patti Blagojevich during a Thursday morning MSNBC interview with Tamron Hall.
Illinois' former First Lady will compete with nine other celebrities on the show "I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here," which premieres Monday on NBC.
She announced last week that she would participate in the show after a judge barred the former governor from leaving the country.
Other contestants include actor Stephen Baldwin and former "American Idol" contestant Sanjaya Malakar.
