A vehicle that crashed early Friday off Mulholland Drive belongs to actor Charlie Sheen, according to reports.

Charlie Sheen's Mercedes-Benz SUV wasn't the only vehicle to end up at the bottom of a steep ravine off Mulholland Drive.

A photographer Friday spotted a Bentley in a ravine near where Sheen's vehicle was found, police spokesman Richard French told the Associated Press.

The Bentley's owner is actress Lisa Vanderpump, NBC has confirmed.

Sheen had reported his vehicle stolen, and at least three vehicles were burglarized in the actor's neighborhood.

Sheen's vehicle was found about 200 feet below Mulholland Drive. Nobody was found at the crash site after an extensive search that involved more than 30 LA firefighters and two helicopter crews.

A report of a "vehicle over the side" was received in the 13300 block of the winding ridgetop road at 4:06 a.m., said Erik Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Department. That report was made by a caller on a cell phone, police said.

KNX1070 Radio reported that at about the same time, Sheen called to report his Mercedes-Benz SUV had been stolen.

The Los Angeles Times reported that at 5:15 a.m. -- more than an hour after the crash report -- police received a "possible burglar" call from Sheen at his Sherman Oaks residence. The house is about one mile from the crash site.

"It is being investigated as an auto theft," said Los Angeles Police Department Officer Bruce Borihanh.

TMZ reported later Friday morning that Sheen received a call from his vehicle's remote diagnostics company. The call alerted Sheen that his vehicle's air bags had deployed, the website reported, citing law enforcement sources.

Recent tire tracks were visible on Mulholland Drive, said LAFD Capt. John Sullivan. Authorities said it's possible that someone pushed the vehicle off the cliff.

The crash closed a portion of the road from Sherman Oaks to Studio City.

Until Friday, Sheen most recently had been in the news for being arrested in Aspen, Colo., on Christmas Day on suspicion of domestic violence. He was released on bail later that day.

The 44-year-old actor was arrested on suspicion of menacing his wife, Brooke Mueller, 33, with a knife. It is a class-five felony in Colorado that entails using a weapon in a threatening way. He was also booked on suspicion of second-degree assault, which is a class-four felony, and criminal mischief, a misdemeanor, police said.

Sheen has a court appearance scheduled for Feb. 8 at the Pitkin County Courthouse in Aspen.
