Ryan Seacrest Inks $60M Radio Deal

Three-year pact will keep "Idol" star hosting American Top 40 Countdown

"American Idol" host Ryan Seacrest has a little side job doing radio, and he just re-upped his contract for $60 million.

Seacrest, the smooth-talking  35-year-old host of "American Top 40 Countdown," renewed his deal with Clear Channel for three more years, according to The New York Times.

The deal also includes the daily talk show Seacrest currently hosts on KIIS-FM in Los Angeles, and would allow Seacrest to start his own record label, music publishing business and live concert series, according to the Times.

Seacrest's expiring deal paid just under $12 million per year. He also makes $12.5 million per year from "Idol," according to The Washington Post, and has a reported $21 million deal with E!
