Rick Springfield Pleads No Contest to Reckless Driving

Springfield pleaded no contest to a lesser charge of reckless driving "with driving under the influence conditions."

Rick Springfield can finally put his DUI bust behind him.

The 62-year-old "Jessie's Girl" crooner cut a deal in the case Thursday, pleading no contest to a lesser charge of reckless driving "with driving under the influence conditions," according to the Washington Post.

Rick Springfield Pleads Not Guilty to DUI

News of Springfield's plea deal comes a year after the singer-actor was busted in May 2011 on Malibu's Pacific Coast Highway after a cop noticed his 1963 Corvette accelerating quickly, and smelled alcohol on his breath when he pulled him over.

The former General Hospital star later pled not guilty to the charges stemming from that arrest.

Springfield will serve three years probation and is required to attend a three-month alcohol education program.
