Kim Kardashian got an unexpected welcome at her perfume launch Thursday — one that might have left her smelling more floury than flowery.

A woman dumped flour — bleached all-purpose, apparently — on the reality star as she was posing for photos on the red carpet before the event at the London Hotel in West Hollywood.

"She came from Kim's left, with a Zip-Lock baggie," said an Access Hollywood staffer who saw the flour-bombing.

At that point, some security guards whisked Kim away, while others detained the woman.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, deputies and even paramedics were called to the scene, although Kim declined to press charges or get medical treatment, The Associated Press reported.

Both her sisters later took to Twitter with obligatory messages of encouragement and bewilderment.

"Classy to flour bomb my sister at a charity event helping women," Kourtney tweeted.

"I wish I was with my sister tonight. I bet you that woman wouldn't have dared [try] a thing…" Khloe said.

As for the flour-thrower's motives, E! Online reported that some witnesses said they had heard her talking about fur earlier.

After cleaning the flour out of her hair and returning to the event, Kim was reportedly in high spirits, possibly because her attacker didn't have the best aim and missed the starlet's face.
