Ann Serano gave George Lopez her kidney but the pair couldn't save their 17-year marriage.

    It's official.

Ann Serrano Lopez filed to divorce TBS funnyman George Lopez in Los Angeles Superior Court, two months after the pair announced they’d pulled the plug on their 17-year marriage, People reported.

Ann cited irreconcilable differences in legal docs and seeks primary custody of their 14-year-old daughter, Mayan, with visitation for George, 49, according to People.

After news of the breakup leaked in late September, a rep for the “Lopez Tonight” host said in a statement at the time the decision was “amicable and by mutual agreement.”

“They remain dedicated parents, and committed partners in business and their philanthropic organization, The Lopez Foundation,” the statement said.

In 2005, Ann Lopez gave her hubby the ultimate gift –one of her kidneys.

With no blood relatives to turn to, Lopez had faced a waiting list 60,000 strong until his wife stepped in, he told People after undergoing surgery.

"I can't pay her back, but what I can do is make her as happy as she thought I would when we first got married," Lopez said.
