Lilo Free to Roam the Streets

The actress still has hundreds of hours of community service left, though

Lindsay Lohan is a free woman. Well, almost.

After serving 35 days for a probation violation, the tracking device that was placed on the infamous actress was removed and she was released from house arrest at 10:20 a.m. PT, according to jail records.

But she's not out of the woods just yet. She still has 480 hours of community service and an anti-shoplifting class to complete. Plus she has to comply with the other terms of her release.

The "Mean Girls" actress was sentenced to four months in jail in May for violating her probation in a 2007 drunken driving case by taking a necklace from a jewelry store without permission earlier this year.

Her confinement in her home in the beachside community of Venice was not without drama. A judge chided her last week for hosting  parties at her house but determined the 24-year-old hadn't violated any conditions of her probation.
